Reducing impurities from entering the pulping system at the source is a key step in improving pulp quality and reducing equipment wear.
The core of a waste paper bale breaker is a rotating drum with perforated screens.
After the waste paper bundles are fed in, the rotating drum drives the spiral blades on its inner wall to push the waste paper from the feed inlet to the discharge outlet. Simultaneously, protrusions inside the drum repeatedly lift and drop the waste paper bundles, loosening them through continuous impact.
During the unpacking process, the perforated screens on the drum wall simultaneously perform dry slag removal: the larger apertures in the feed inlet area facilitate the early discharge of heavy impurities; the smaller apertures in the discharge outlet area are used to screen out fine debris, achieving graded screening.
