The agitator in pulping equipment is a core piece of equipment in the papermaking industry applied for pulp circulation, mixing, and suspension maintenance. Its main function is to uniformly mix fiber raw materials with water, keeping the fibers in the pulp in suspension to prevent sedimentation and flocculation, and ensuring that the pulp components are evenly distributed in the pulp tank.
The agitator consists of a motor, transmission device, stirring shaft, impeller, and mounting base.
Working Principle: The motor drives the impeller to rotate, drawing the slurry in from the center and throwing it out from the edges, creating a three-dimensional circulating flow within the tank—slurry at the bottom is pushed upwards, while surface slurry flows downwards, thus achieving uniform mixing throughout the tank and preventing fiber deposition.
In the multi-shaft composite mixing design, the central shaft and peripheral shafts rotate in opposite directions, and the impellers with opposite inclinations simultaneously push the slurry upwards, effectively preventing bottom accumulation and ensuring uniform fiber distribution.
