In my country’s waste paper processing industry, horizontal hydrapulpers are the most commonly used, while vertical high-consistency hydrapulpers are widely used in specific processes such as deinking.
Based on working concentration, they can be divided into two main categories: low-consistency and high-consistency. Low-consistency hydrapulpers are suitable for continuous, large-scale processing. High-consistency hydrapulpers have the advantage of stronger fiber friction, which facilitates the separation of contaminants such as ink particles from the fibers, and are often used in deinking production lines.
In addition, there are improved models such as the D-type hydrapulper, which uses a non-circular D-shaped tank, changing the pulp flow direction of the traditional circular tank, resulting in more frequent contact between the pulp and the rotor, and increasing the pulping capacity by approximately 30%.
